There are a range of Rigid Board Systems which provide a solution for fire protection requirements of up to 4 hours to structural steelwork, ducting, walls and roof linings.
These systems are visually attractive and can be jointed and painted or plaster finished to give a smooth, seamless finish and, therefore, are normally specified for use in viewed areas.

There are a range of Mineral Fibre Board Systems which provide an economical, lightweight, dry fix solution for fire protection of up to 4 hours, to structural steelwork, concrete, timber and steel ducts.
These systems are more economical than the rigid board systems but are less aesthetically pleasing and, therefore, are normally specified for use in concealed, or part-viewed areas.
They are able to withstand water ingress and are particularly useful where temporary exposure to the weather during construction is a factor to be considered.
